The Return of the Vampire Hustlers from Hell - Limited Edition 12" Red Vinyl
This is an album of original music written by Silas Hite. This limited edition, translucent blood red vinyl features spooky, funky, gritty 1970's action horror music.
The concept for the album was based on artwork created by the artist D-WREX. He asked if I had music to match his artwork. I had nothing at the time, but the idea of making an album inspired by 1970's Italian horror albums intrigued me, so I offered to collaborate on an album of new music. His first piece of artwork eventually became the album front and back covers. Since then, he has spawned many more incredible pieces of artwork that will be revealed as album art for the singles.
The artwork, the music, and song titles all work together to suggest a soundtrack to film that doesn't exist...yet. We have a incredible script written by my cousin, Mason Mothersbaugh, and the hope is to one day make the film a reality.
